Halloween
We all had a blast for Halloween this year.

The kids were able to dress up for school.
The younger grades had a parade in the halls to show off costumes.
Can't pass up free pumpkins. We couldn't reach them so I had my mom climb in while I took the easy job loading the grocery cart.
Even adults have a fun time. Brayden stayed home to pass out candy and we took the girls around the neighborhood. We ran into the neighbor in full shark costume and they had to get a picture together.
I was able to dress up for school on Halloween so I went as Josh (Pepsi Man)! We always have a fun time at school on holidays.

Happy Halloween!

Goodbye Fall/ Hello Winter

 Our 1st Snow Fall

Our weather doesn't know what it wants to do. We don't have snow right now but it will be here before we know it. It snowed one day in October and the kids had to get their winter gear on and build snowmen.

Conference
We were able to get tickets to attend October's Sunday morning general conference session.

It was a memorable weekend being together to enjoy conference!
Broken Arm
On Friday September 29nd, I was not at school because I was home with a sick Alayna. I went over to the school to pick up Kaytlin when the bell rang. As she was approaching me she was walking a little bit different and holding her arm closely to her body. I asked her about it and she said she hurt it on the playground at lunch recess. Into the doctor we went... x-rays were taken. We get the results that it is broken and schedule a day to get a cast put on. I was sick to my stomach that she went several more hours at school with a broken arm. She wore a splint until the following Tuesday when she had a cast put on.

 Day of Casting
 PINK!

She told us she wasn't going to let anyone sign it. About two weeks having it on, she came home from school with signatures from her friends. Family then had to get their turn.

Just shy of her month checkup we were out of town and her cast fell off. She said it felt weird and weak. The doctor office ended up calling us while we were on vacation trying to reschedule her follow up. I told them we needed to because her cast fell off. We got home from vacation and take her in for a checkup. Another x-ray!
Not healed so another cast. PURPLE!
She is still sporting her purple cast. We have another follow up in just over a week.
Crossing our fingers and praying it is healed!
November 29th the cast came off! She was so happy!

Extra September Fun

At the end of the summer we had a final trip to the lake.

While we were at the lake Alayna said her tooth was loose.
Right before we left it fell out!
Playing with the dog.

I had the opportunity to work for the city referee/score keeping for volleyball. It was a blast.

Josh and I were able to play on a co-ed softball team. We made some new friends with some wonderful people.
Baseball games to see our Idaho Falls Chukars play.
Working hard at school and earned a huge kindness heart for our tree.

Carl's family was in town from New Mexico and we were able to visit for awhile. Even if the trip was short it was sure fun to see them.

I am a bit behind on updating the blog so be watching for more great fun from us.

Apple Picking

In September we went apple picking so we could can some apple pie filling. Yummy!

It was a fun family activity and got some really good pie filling out of all those apples.
