Summer Pics

These pictures have no order but were memorable things this past summer!
We walked and biked the greenbelt frequently and would stop to play in the "sand pit" which was incentive for the kids!
 Movies in the Parks
 Climbing and Hiking different paths
 Curlers for church
 Campfires
 Special visitors to town
 Playing outside
 Library theme parties

The Duck Race
 Lagoon this past weekend!

We had a blast and have lots of random pictures! We love spending time together as a family doing different things.
MOVED

We sold our house on Boise and moved across town. The process was long just waiting on paperwork on the sale of ours and the purchase of our new home but we are finally in and getting settled. We listed our Boise house in December and also put in an offer on a Short Sale house at the same time.  Then ours SOLD.

It ended up falling through and then we had to back out of our offer for the other house until we sold ours. In the meantime someone else put in an offer on the house we wanted and we started looking at other houses for when we had another offer.
Our house SOLD take 2!

We got an offer on our house and so we put in another offer on the short sale because the other persons offer fell through. We were told up front that we may not be able to push the bank to close in time with the one we were selling. We had to have some work done on the house before closing and its not everyday I see men on our roof!

We were actually going to be in limbo for awhile while the bank got all the paperwork together after we closed on ours. Then came the packing...

and empty rooms...

Moving day came around and to start the day we had a little fun...
then the work started...
picked up the UHAUL
loaded the UHAUL
trying to figure out when closing would be on new house
when we could move into new house

The next day we signed papers to sell our home. It was sad and exciting all at the same time. We were also told we could move into the new house that day before we even closed on it!
Needless to say miracles happen everyday. The whole process was worth it though!

I know some of you are just dying for pictures :) so without anymore waiting here are a few.

Some numbers to put it in perspective for you.
Our old house could ALL fit on the main floor of our new home.
It has 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 3 large living areas, 2 fireplaces, closets, 2 car garage  and is 3500+ square feet.
We are currently only using the main floor.
We only have a few boxes that haven't been unpacked.
We had to buy some furniture :)
We have so much room we don't know what to do with all of it.
Our new ward is friendly and welcoming.
If you want our new address ask us!
We invite you to come visit but let us know you are coming so we can be sure to have the guest room/s put together! We love company!

WE LOVE OUR NEW HOME!
Back to School
2015-2016

This year all three kids are in school! Brayden is in sixth grade, Kaytlin is in 2nd grade and Alayna is in Kindergarten.  The house has been super quiet!

Brayden and Kaytlin were comfortable with school procedure and lining up but Alayna insisted I help her the first week of school. The very first day of school she was cool as a cucumber with a huge smile but some of the other kids were crying or wouldn't leave their parent and that is what I expected from Alayna. The other kids dropped off their school supplies at back to school night but we were in the middle of packing a UHAUL which is in my next post!
Day Two went much better for all parents of Kindergarteners.
She even has some friends (Braxton Orchard & Ryker Hathaway) in her class.

We are all excited to see how this year progresses and what everyone learns. I just fill my silence with music, cleaning, exercise, anything to stay busy until school pickup!
Alayna's 5th Birthday

My baby is no longer a baby! She is an independent sweet caring five year old. We celebrated her birthday with some of our family. If you haven't noticed by now the kids love Red Robin for their birthday dinner and that is once again where Alayna chose to go.

Presents included clothes, a purse filled with items, an apron, crown crafts and a few other things.
Alayna even picked out her cake from the store and made sure everyone got some.

When asking her these questions this is how she responded:
What do you want to be when you grow up: A Mom
Favorite Color: Pink
Loves playing: Tag, Babies, Dress Up
Favorite Chore: Helping Mom wash dishes
Favorite thing about school: painting & music
Favorite Places to Visit: grandma's, Lagoon, Swimming Pool
Favorite Food: Macaroni & Cheese

Happy Birthday Alayna!

Happy Birthday Brayden!
11 Yrs Old

Brayden had a birthday and we all shouted hurray!
We took him to Red Robin for his Birthday dinner.

Then we had family over to help celebrate! He got boy scout stuff (book, pocket knife, sash, flashlight), reading books, flipflops and a few toys. He is growing up for sure!

With Chocolate Pudding Cake and ice cream for Dessert!

Happy Birthday Brayden!
