July 4th
July 4th was a fun and busy day again this year. We started the day off by going to a ward breakfast. Brayden was invited to be in the parade with the Cub Scouts so we had to have him to the starting point by 8 a.m. with his cubanapolis car. We then went home and packed up to spend the remainder of the day at Josh's parents place with family.
Leading up to the 4th, Brayden worked on getting his cubanapolis car ready for the parade.
At the starting line for the parade.
We sat about two blocks into the parade route so we could hurry out after the parade to pick him up. I helped Brayden make his smoke stack his water bottle holder to help keep him hydrated!
At Josh's parents place it has become a tradition to have dutch oven ribs and potatoes and set up the swimming pools for the kids. We spent the day playing with cousins, eating yummy food and just enjoying our time together.
We then got the kids in their PJ's to watch the fireworks.
Brayden and his cousin Andruw were our firework starters.
We hope you all had a safe 4th of July!
