Gold Bug/Salmon Visit

We had a fun family getaway in September. We stayed at a cute AirBnb named Skyrange Acres. We were greeted by a friendly couple and their dog that made new friends with the girls.

Good thing they had a cupboard of games when we got "bored".

We decided to hike Gold Bug and I am so glad we did. We had some complaining and bad weather but I would do it again! Round trip it was about two miles of a hike in and 2 miles back out.

As seen from this picture, the dark clouds were rolling in and it started to rain when we were about half way to the hot springs. When the rain started everyone started complaining and wanted to turn back but we pushed on. 

The springs were so worth it even though we were wet when we finally got to the springs and wet all the way back out to the car but the weather did clear up and the sun came back out.

We made it back to the start and were happy about it.

This may become a family tradition!
