Mesa Falls

We took a Sunday drive to Mesa Falls. 

We love being in the outdoors and seeing the beautiful world we live in.

It was very hot and Josh was spraying us with his water bottle. I told them all to get together for a picture and Josh's face was priceless on this first shot with the bottle over Brayden's head. 

We stopped at Warm River and let the kids get in the water for a few minutes. Alayna saw minnows swimming around. We got back in the car and Alayna told me she had brought along a baby minnow attached to her foot... looked and it was not a minnow...but a leech... then she started in frantically shaking her foot to get it off...dad to the rescue with some toilet paper. She was so cute to think a fish wanted to come for a car ride home.

We brought the back roads home through some small Idaho cities. We enjoyed the wind rippling through the fields and the mountains standing majestic in the background.
