Grand Teton & Yellowstone National Parks
A week ago we took a day trip over to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. We are so fortunate to have these beautiful areas so close to our home. the drive over was a bit wet but the weather cleared up and we enjoyed our day. We have visited these parks before but each time is so different and we see different parts of the park. This visit we took many winding gravel roads into back country we didn't even know existed.

Usually the kids photo bomb us but Josh snuck in this one.

These two photos show the quality between our two cell phones!

This area is my favorite part of the parks!

The kids caught a quick nap between stops.
Yellowstone

We got dinner in Gardiner, Montana which is just outside the North Entrance to Yellowstone. We got back in the car after dinner and the rain started back up. We then drove back through Yellowstone to the West Entrance to the park and on home. We were hoping to see bears and moose but all we saw were elk, buffalo, chipmunks and a cute little blue bird. We will see more parts of the park next time. If you have never been you should definitely take the opportunity.
