Moab
On the weekend of the 20th of September we took a road trip to Moab! The drive is about 6 1/2 hours. The kids took movies and headphones and were in their own little worlds most of the drive.

 Josh our trusty driver!

Some cool sculptures in Moab that describe why were we there in the first place.
We got into Moab on Friday afternoon. While waiting for Anthony's family to get there we went into Canyonlands National Park.

We went out for dinner on Friday night to a place that serves all you can eat pizza.

Friday evening the cousins all played in the dirt.
Saturday morning we got up early and took off for the starting line to cheer the guys off. Don't they look like such cute cheerleaders?

 They are off!

Josh took this picture on the ride.

While the guys were riding we tore down camp and went into Arches National Park. Kaytlin took down the tent. The kids all had fun climbing and playing in the sand.

These little critters were everywhere. We watched them for awhile.

Anthony after his century ride. We missed seeing Josh cross the finish line.
While waiting we played and took pictures together.

On Saturday we drove to Logan and pulled into the campground around 10 pm. We couldn't see our surroundings while setting up camp but the next morning we got these amazing views. the campground was the Hyrum State Park and we were thankful for the hot showers. For church we attended Emilie's ward in Logan to listen to her farewell talk for her mission.

August 27th Emilie opened her mission call and was called to serve in the Santa Rosa California Mission. She reports to the MTC on October 16th.
