4th of July

This year for the 4th of July we did a lot of fun things with friends and family. We started out our festivities at Rigby Lake. We took the canoe up and spent most of the day at the lake. Our friends (The Mittag's) joined us for dinner and fireworks.

 Both Kaytlin and Alayna performed with a local dance academy on the beach in the early evening.

 Then we watched Rigby's firework show.

 One night leading up to the 4th we spent our evening at Lincoln Court Assisted Living Center listening to the Old Time Fiddlers and lighting sparklers.

We had a neighborhood fireworks extravaganza/dinner party.

On the 4th we went to our ward pancake breakfast and flag ceremony. After breakfast we headed over to watch the parade with our friends.

After the parade we headed to Grandpa and Grandma Dawson's to play with cousins, and have a yummy lunch of dutch oven ribs and potatoes. 

The girls helped make the home made root beer.

Before dark came we headed over to Skyline High School to watch the fireworks show.

We had a fun,busy and safe 4th of July!
