Utah Trip

A high school buddy of Josh's who lives in Texas currently but with him being in the military has been in many places was coming to utah for a family event and asked if our family would come down and spend a day with them. We met up with their family at the Hoogle Zoo in Salt Lake City.

We then went to the Gateway to cool off by playing in their water fountain.

 Then we went up the mountain and found a park we could eat lunch at and check out the view. It was just up the street from their capital building.

Then we went down to Temple Square to see the new church movies from Meet the Mormons. We were in the first viewing of the new films and it was packed but super fun.

 Always an adventure! We then headed over to the City Creek Center because the girls insisted we go to the Disney store...

!!! DISNEY STORE!!!! 

The girls were ecstatic and in heaven in this store.

Our hotel happened to be pretty close to several other temples so we took a drive. The Jordan River temple was currently closed for renovations but was still beautiful. The Oquirrh Mountain Temple was our final stop on our quick getaway to visit friends!

We love going on adventures and not having an agenda when we travel.
