D.A.R.E.
Drug Abuse Resistance Education is taught in the local schools here by a uniformed police officer. For three months the students learn about the effects of drugs, bullying, peer pressure, alcoholism, and so many other great issues.
Brayden continued at A.H. Bush this past year so he could attend this program because our new school district does the program with their fifth graders instead of sixth.
A huge thanks to Officer Lund for teaching these kids great things for their future. During the program Officer Lund told all the kids to stand and look at the helpers behind them in the audience. As parents to these kids we are their helpers. We help them to make good choices, we help them by knowing where they are, who they are with and what they are doing at all times. I am so proud of Brayden for the good choices he has made. Our lives were compared to a chain and the kids were only a few links into their lives but had so many links to add throughout their lives and I hope Brayden adds only strong healthy links to his chain and we as parents will continue to be his helpers.
Congratulations Brayden!
