Eclipse
We had family come in to visit for the eclipse. It was a remarkable experience to be able to see the eclipse right from our own front yard. When it the sun was fully eclipsed it was dark and chilly like it would be in the late evening. I didn't think it would be as awesome as it was. I exceeded my expectations.

These were captured by a neighbor who shared with us.
Can't wait for the next one to happen!
Duck Race
Our great city always celebrates Brenda's birthday by dumping thousands of ducks in the snake river. The first so many to go over the falls gets prizes and such. This year it wasn't on her birthday because the city corresponded with duck race with eclipse weekend. We still had a great time. They do activities by the river most of the day.

 First duck over the falls!

We certainly had a fun time seeing so many rubber duckies in the river and having fun together.

Island Park
We love being outdoors, doing fun stuff and our float trip in Island Park didn't disappoint. We have made this a yearly trip with friends and we always stop at Big Jud's on our way back home. These pictures are in no particular order.

By this point Alayna was done and she made sure we knew.

Until Next Year!
Alayna's Birthday
Alayna turned 7 years old this birthday. She chose to go to Red Robin for her birthday dinner, picked out her cake and scheduled her party. She made sure we didn't forget any details.

We had family over to help celebrate.

Happy  Birthday, Alayna!
Hope this year is great for you.
