5

I personally can't believe it but it's true! Kaytlin turned 5! Her birthday fell on a Wednesday this year. We let her choose how we celebrated it as a family and she wanted to get dinner from Red Robin and then go swimming so we did!

Then on Friday we had a little party with extended family.

Grandpa Dawson helping get her new toys out of the boxes!

Her birthday cake that she picked out with daddy!

Here is a small glimpse of what Kaytlin does day in and day out!

Christmas 2012

Our family picture!

We had a wonderful holiday season filled with family and fun! My parents got here from Ohio in the middle of December. The weekend before Christmas we went to Salt Lake City, Utah. We visited Temple Square, Trolley Square for Rodigio's and we saw Santa Claus, and City Creek Center to do some shopping. A huge Thanks to Anthony and Mandy for allowing us all to crash at their apartment while they were in Colorado!

 Ashley took our family picture at the temple! Thanks a bunch Ashley!

 Christmas Day in no particular order!

Grandma and Grandpa Vermillion made Kaytlin and Alayna bunkbeds for their dolls with bedding. They turned out so cute even on short notice!

Then we went to Grandpa and Grandma Dawson's house.

Chilling out at home after all the excitement playing with all their new toys!
Even Grandpa getting into the action!
The weekend after Christmas Anthony, Mandy, and Mason came up from Utah to spend New Years with us! We won't get this opportunity much longer because he just took a job in Colorado!
Mason opened his presents from grandma and grandpa at our house and the kids went wild with his toys too!
All the kids had a blast playing with their cousins and grandparents!

We played cards and just had a fun time with everyone here. Below: Josh, Brenda, Carl, Ashley, Mandy, Anthony, Mason, Brayden, and Grandpa Vermillion. Grandma Vermillion took the picture and all the other kids were off playing!

On Monday night (New Years Eve) we were invited to Carl and Ashley's home for games, food and to ring in the New Year! Thanks for having us up! We came home and slept in the next day.
Resting after all the excitement!

In all our partying and fun and games we do miss my sister and her cute little family! They are thought about alot and we constantly keep them in our prayers!

Have a fabulous 2013!

Dance Recital

This week Kaytlin had her dance recital! She was learning Jazz and Hip Hop. I am not sure it's for her though so we are looking for a tumbling or gymnastics class.

 She gets to meet so many new friends!
 After the dancing Santa Claus came to visit!
Brayden and Kaytlin ran to get in line but Alayna refused to get anywhere near the guy!
 We had lots going on that evening including scouts for Brayden but they are never to tired to tell Santa exactly what they want!
This is only the beginning of the Christmas season!
May you all be careful and remember what this season is about!

Happy Halloween

We hope you all had a safe and Happy Halloween. The kids enjoyed themselves. We had a Ward Dinner and Trunk or Treat Night that we went to and enjoyed lots of different soups. I also took the girls to the library Halloween story and singing time. The girls and I also went to Brayden's school for the school costume parade. It is so neat to see so many creative ideas! On Halloween we started the night out by taking Kaytlin to the doctors! She has a sinus and eye infection! We then went to a few friends homes to trick or treat, stopped at grandma's, and did a few homes in our neighborhood of people we knew. We try to keep it as safe as possible and still allow the kids to enjoy themselves! The snow we did have all melted and we couldn't have asked for better weather for trick or treating!
Brayden = Magician
Kaytlin= Elmo
Alayna= Pumpkin
Now it's November and we have to get Christmas figured out! With November and December comes concerts, dance recitals, shopping, gift lists, treat making, family visits, etc... The list goes on and on with little time!
We love You All!
